I offer tutoring in Biology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, and Ecology. I believe it is important for students to understand and experience the connection between Science and technology. I integrate both hands-on learning and the most current scientific technology into lessons and practice in a variety of ways. For example, in connection with an Earth Science climate change project, my students compared data to real-time NASA satellite images. I have also made use of virtual dissection in Zoology. When I'm not working with students, I enjoy organic gardening, educating myself and others about environmental issues, and creating online scientific resources.
